Fiero Collision has been a Hyundai recognized (certified) collision repair facility since 2015 when the Hyundai body shop certification program was started. To be a certified Hyundai auto body shop it is neccesary to meet stringent training and equipment requirements set forth by the manufacturer.

“This program ensures both independent and Hyundai dealership-owned collision repair centers have the training, tools, equipment, and facilities needed to properly repair Hyundai vehicles after they have been involved in a collision,” Hyundai said in a news release.

BUT… Not all dealership body shops are automatically recognized or approved by their manufactuer to perform collision repair. It is not a requirement for a dealer’s body shop to have any kind of auto body certification. Most dealers in the area do not have Hyundai approved body shops and will sublet these repairs to the cheapest bidder.

Make sure to ask to see the plaque that states a collision repair facility is a “Hyundai Recognized Collision Repair Center”
